Last year at Fabtech 2015, Lew Weiss and Tim Grady interviewed Hernan Luis y Prado, founder and president of Workshops for Warriors, a 501(c)3 trade school dedicated to helping returning veterans prepare for civilian life by learning job skills such as welding, machining and milling. This update highlights where the school is headed, the students it has graduated, and what it needs to accommodate the hundreds of vets who want to attend but presently cannot because the G.I. Bill won't cover tuition costs until mid-2018. Hear what corporations and individuals can do for our 'Can Do' warriors transitioning from military to civilian life.
